Kelly has been in the association management industry since 2012 where she started as a clerk in the same association that she manages today, an 800+ unit homeowners association. Kelly is unique amongst her fellow managers in the industry. She was quickly promoted to management level which qualified her to receive these professional designations from CAI. The valuable knowledge and experience Kelly gained by successfully serving in the administrative aspects of Association management, led her to where she is today, an executive capable of starting and operating her own quality association management firm.
Senior Association Manager
Janet Derrick, CMCA, AMS
AMS, - Senior Association Manager of Pocono Consulting Services, LLC, has over 15 years experience in the property management field with the last 10 years spent specializing in community association management. Janet got her start in the industry with a large scale Association in an administrative role. In making the transition to the community association management field, it was important for her to learn the basics of how an association runs in the day-to-day operation.
Working in an administrative role allowed Janet to understand the needs of the individual property owner as well as the needs of the corporation as a whole. Working in the community association management field drove her desire to complete her Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Janet continued her education in the HOA industry via the Community Association Institute where she earned Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designations.
